CLERK/CUSTOMER SERVICE
The position of Clerk/Customer Service within the Customer Service Department is available. The workweek and work locations can vary within various Suffolk County locations.
DATABASE APPLICATION DEVELOPER 
The Suffolk County Water Authority is currently
seeking a Database Application Developer for our Hauppauge
Laboratory. Working with the LIMS Administrator, responsibilities
will include the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle
reports and IDM LimsLink methods, extraction of LIMS data
as requested, support of minor hardware, printing, and networking
problems. Successful applicants will possess good communications
skills, as well as proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle reports
and forms, Microsoft Office 2000. Knowledge of Java, Visual
Basic, HTML, XML a plus. We offer an excellent benefits package
including participation in the NYS Retirement System.
SAP
PROGRAMMER/ANALYST 
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree
with 3+ years of programming experience in SAP ABAP, Visual
Basic, Microsoft Office suite (Access), SQL, Oracle. Networking
skills a plus. Responsible for new application development
and improving existing programs to meet the changing needs
of the Authority. Specific assignments will include application
design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes,
testing, maintenance and debugging, documentation and end-user
support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
required.
