Clerk/Customer Service

The position of Clerk/Customer Service within the Customer Service Department is available. The workweek and work locations can vary within various Suffolk County locations.

Job Description:
Duties may include, but are not limited by the following illustrations of the various related work types to be performed by a person in this position:
  • Extensive Customer Service Contact
  • Research and follow-up of customer complaints
  • Bending, lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds
  • Long periods of extended sitting and computer usage
  • Prolonged data entry
Education:
HS Diploma/GED

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Heavy phone, good customer relation’s skills, and proficient computer skills.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo and pass a medical examination Additionally, screening tests for alcohol and illegal drugs will be required before hiring and may be required during employment.
