Seasonal Landscaping Contract Inspector
The successful candidate will perform the daily inspection of external contracted landscapers
to ensure contract compliance. Landscaping experience is a plus. Should have the ability to
communicate efficiently. Must be able drive long distances and have a valid NYS Drivers License.
This is not a permanent employment position and will terminate after several months.
Water System Supervisor
The Suffolk County Water Authority is seeking a Supervisor
of Water System Operations. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day
pumping system operation and maintenance activities. An Engineering degree or
related field experience is a must. Experience in water supply operations is a
plus. Must possess or be able to obtain a NYS Grade IB WTPO license. Salary
commensurate with experience.
Senior Electrician 
Career opportunity for an Instrument Technician to join the nations largest aquifer-based
water supplier. Working in our Water Production group, you will perform fieldwork on electronic transmitters
and recorders, chemical analyzers and controllers, motor starters, generators and automatic transfer switches,
SCADA system including PLC’s and spread spectrum radios and systems related to water production and quality.
The ideal candidate will hold an AAS degree in electronics/instrument technology or equiv. and have at least five
years experience in the operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of electronic and instrumentation devices.
Ability to work to component level is also required. A background in radio system maintenance and repair is
also preferred.
